Airdroid Project

by Jeroen de Groot and Mark Kloosterhuis

We got inspired by a mouse and keyboard combination called the Air Keyboard. It is a small keyboard which has a sensor in for controlling the mouse movements. We both have a android phone with different sensors in it. We think it is an advantage to have your phone as a remote device, when you are on your sofa for example and you want to control your media-pc. We developed an android application which uses the orientation sensor for the mouse movements and the virtual keyboard to provide input at the target pc. This did not satisfied our needs since we wanted to use the application for our media-pc with a bunch of movies and series on it. Therefore we expanded the application with an file browser. You are able to select any file and open it remotely with your phone.
