2D Whiteboard Interaction on Any Surface using the Wiimote

Bachelor project by Emily Niel and Dirk Zittersteyn

Johnny Lee has recently demonstrated how to turn almost any flat display or surface into an interactive surface using a Wiimote and an infrared light. In this project we went a step further and implemented an application that can handle multiple IR lights and sends its data to other applications through UDP. This can be used as an input technique for interaction on large displays with multiple users. To demonstrate what can be achieved with multi-touch interaction application we also implemented an interactive whiteboard that allows multiple users to draw at the same time.
